The exam > Open book exam

There will be a written exam. The exact date and time will be announced on Canvas.

The exam is an open book exam. That means that you can bring the following items with you to the exam:

•The reader Introduction to Mechanics and Transducer Science

•A printed copy of last year's lecture slides

•A printed copy of this study guide

•Your own (handwritten or printed) notes

•A calculator (but no other devices, i.e. no smartphones, no laptops, etc.)

Please note: if you really understand the material you will not need any of these.

The following is NOT permitted at the exam:

•Answer sheets to assignments and example exams

•Anything that can connect to the internet
